The stroke that changed my life
At 16, I was a normal teenager. I had dreams, plans, and the assumption that time was infinite. Then one day, a stroke brought me face to face with mortality.
The day everything changed
It happened without warning. One moment I was living my life, the next I was in a hospital bed, and the doctors were telling my family they did not know if I would make it. At 16, you are not supposed to confront your own death. But life does not follow the script you write for it.
The stroke left me with a profound realization that I carry to this day: time is the most precious resource we have, and most of us waste it living someone else's life.
From destruction to purpose
Recovery was long and painful. But in that process, something extraordinary happened. I started asking the question that would define my entire life: What am I here for?
That question led me on a journey of deep exploration. I immersed myself in human development, studying with some of the greatest minds in the world. Tony Robbins, John C. Maxwell, Brian Tracy -- each of them contributed a piece to the puzzle of who I was becoming.
The discovery of conscious love
Through years of study and personal transformation, I discovered something that would become the foundation of everything I teach and build: conscious love is not merely a feeling. It is a state of awareness from which you can create anything.
When you operate from conscious love, your relationships transform, your business decisions become clearer, and your entire life aligns with your deepest purpose.
The lesson
I would not wish a stroke on anyone. But I am deeply grateful for what it taught me. It showed me that our greatest breakdowns can become our greatest breakthroughs -- if we choose to let them.
Today, with 8 published books, a presence in 17+ countries, and over 500,000 lives impacted, I can say with certainty: that stroke did not destroy me. It gave me my purpose.
And that purpose is simple: to hold up a mirror so you can discover your greatness and build from conscious love.
